On September 3, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving RCRA violations at the Bradken Atlas facility located in Tacoma, Washington. The facility failed to meet hazardous waste accumulation standards, apply appropriate labels on containers of hazardous waste and universal waste, and conduct weekly inspections of central accumulation areas. The Respondent has agreed to pay a penalty of $20,000, conduct needed on-site process changes and improvements and has returned to compliance.
