On September 4, 2024, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Square Foot Customs LLC located in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Square Foot Customs LLC failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. According to the EJ Screen, the target housing being renovated did not occur in an area of potential EJ concern for indexes in the State Percentile and National Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
