On 07/30/2024, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to TSCA LBP to Royalty Management LLC for its Gardens on Walnut property located in Garland TX. The CAFO was issued in response to alleged violations of the Toxic Substances Control Act related to the lead-based paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting rule: 1) Firm Certification, 2) Trained workers, 3) Provide EPA pamphlet, and 4) Retain records. The CAFP requires Royalty Management to pay a civil penalty of $7,500 within 30 days of EPA's issuing the CAFO.
