The Order addressed several violations identified from September 2022 to present. Violations include failure to conduct a Level 1 assessment in September 2022; failure to revise an incomplete sample siting plan by March 2023; failure to conduct triggered source monitoring following a total coliform positive sample in September 2022; failure to monitor for total coliform bacteria in October 2022, January 2023, December 2023, March, May, and June 2024; failure to monitor for nitrate during 2023; and failure to notify the public of these violations. The Order requires the Respondent to complete the Level 1 assessment, submit a revised sample siting plan; and notify the public of the violations. The Water Division provided the System extensive compliance assistance prior to the SDWA Enforcement Section initiating this enforcement action. The System serves approximately 36 individuals at least 60 days a year.
