On 8/14/2024, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, & Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Supermercado El Rancho Inc, of Arlington, TX. The CAFO was issued in response to alleged violations of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, regarding the distribution/sale of unregistered pesticides. The CAFO requires Supermercado El Rancho Inc to certify compliance with all requirements of FIFRA and pay a civil penalty of $230,800 within 30 days of the effective date of the order.
