On 7/31/24, EPA Region 6 entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act with PWD-Baton Rouge, LLC located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The CAFO was entered into in response to violations of the Lead Paint Renovation Repair and Painting Rule in 40 C.F.R. section 745. The CAFO requires PWD-Baton Rouge to return to compliance and pay a penalty of $54,000, plus other conditions of settlement.
