During the week of August 25, 2024, EPA Region 6 will issue an Administrative Compliance Order on Consent (AOC) to Chalmette Refining, LLC (Chalmette) for its refinery located in Chalmette, Louisiana. The AOC will be issued in response to a violation of LAC 33:III.919.B.1 of the Louisiana SIP for failing to report actual emissions in the annual emissions inventory for VOC, NOX, and CO for reporting year 2020.
