Firm conducted abatement work at a Schenectady, NY residential property and offered to and claimed to perform renovations, violating various provisions of the Abatement Rule and RRP Rule. The firm failed to ensure the abatement was conducted only by certified individuals, failed to ensure a supervisor was onsite, failed to notify EPA prior to commencing abatement activities, failed to develop a written occupant protection plan, failed to have a certified inspector or risk assessor perform post abatement clearance procedures, failed to prepare an abatement report, and failed to obtain initial firm certification under RRP.
