On September 17, Region 8 issued an Administrative Order (Order) under section 1414 of the SDWA to Rafter J Ranch Homeowner?s Association (Respondent) based on a determination that the Rafter J Subdivision HOA Public Water System (System) of Teton County, Wyoming violated EPA?s National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The Order addressed several violations identified from 2019 to 2024. Violations include failure to deliver a lead consumer notice for the June to September 2023 monitoring period, failure to monitor for disinfection biproducts (total trihalomethanes (TTHM) and haloacetic acids (HAA5)) during September 2023, failure to correct significant deficiencies in the 2019 Sanitary Survey Report, failure to monitor for total coliform during December 2022. The Order requires the Respondents to delivery and certify the 2023 LCN, monitor the System?s water for disinfection biproducts, total coliform, and radionuclides, provide sufficient evidence of the reportedly completed significant deficiency corrective action, and notify the public of the violations.
