Respondent is a renovation contractor located in Long Island City, New York. EPA inspected the firm actively working at a property in Manhattan, New York, in May of 2019 and followed up the inspection with an Information Request Letter that included compliance questions regarding 2 additional properties (3 total) where EPA was aware the firm was working in target housing. Based on evidence provided by the firm regarding the three properties in addition to inspectors on site observation at the original property, EPA has reason to believe that the Respondent violated the Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule and the Pre-renovation Education Rule.
