The Order addressed several violations identified from September 2022 to present. Violations include arsenic maximum contaminant level (MCL) violations, a Surface Water Treatment Rule Treatment Technique Violation, and a Lead and Copper Rule routine monitoring violation. The Order requires the Respondent to complete the Lead and Copper Sampling; correct the Surface Water Treatment Rule treatment technique violation; reduce the arsenic levels below the MCL; and notify the public of the violations. The Water Division provided the System extensive compliance assistance prior to the SDWA Enforcement Section initiating this enforcement action. The System serves approximately 7675 individuals at least 60 days a year.
