On November 26, 2024, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement resolving CWA violations of the Municipality of Skagway's wastewater permit at its wastewater treatment plant in Skagway, Alaska. Alleged violations included effluent limit exceedances, failure to submit monthly discharge monitoring reports in a timely manner, and failure to submit required non-compliance reports. The Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $1,613 and has returned to compliance.
