On 10/31/24, EPA Region 6 entered into a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) with Asif Dosmohomed dba Thrift & $1.00 Mart (Thrift) located in Arlington, Texas. The CAFO was entered into in response to the distribution or sale of unregistered pesticides, which is a violation of Section 12(a)(1)(A) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(A). The CAFO requires that Thrift return to compliance and pay a penalty of $6,600 within 30 days of the effective date of the CAFO.
