On December 18, 2024, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to Peterdy LLC dba Black Stag Contracting located in Liberty Lake, Washington, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged Creativity Painting LLC failed to become RRP firm certified prior to performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property, as required by the RRP Rule. According to the EJ Screen, the target housing being renovated occurred in an area of potential EJ concerns for indexes in the State and National Percentile. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
