On November 20, Region 8 issued an Administrative Order (Order) under section 1414 of the SDWA to Lame Deer Public Schools (Respondent) based on a determination that the Lame Deer High School Public Water System (System) of Rosebud County, Montana violated EPAs National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The Order addressed several violations identified from October 2022 to present. Violations include failure to complete required corrective actions identified through a Level 2 assessment conducted per the Revised Total Coliform Rule following multiple trigger events. The order requires the Respondents to complete the required corrective actions and notify the public of the violations.
