On December 6, 2024, EPA issued a Clean Water Act (CWA) administrative order (Order) to Pike Industries, Inc. for failure to submit discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) pursuant to their CWA National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. Pike Industries, Inc. in Twin Mountain, NH is authorized to discharge under the Multi Sector General Permit (MSGP). Pike Industries Inc.'s facility/property in Twin Mountain, NH is in an environmental justice area of concern. The Order requires the permittee to submit all outstanding DMRs and continue to report as required by their permit. While EPA is responsible for implementing the Clean Water Act in New Hampshire, EPA also notified the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services of this action.
