On December 13, 2024, the Regional Judicial Officer approved an expedited settlement agreement with NHNY Marina Development, LLC d/b/a Riveredge Marina of Ashland, New Hampshire resolving alleged violations of Section 301 of the Clean Water Act. An EPA inspection of the facility found that the facility was discharging stormwater associated with industrial activities through outfalls not identified or described in either its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan or Notice of Intent. The company promptly worked towards correcting the violations. The settlement requires that the company pay a $2,109 penalty. EPA worked in coordination with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services on this case.
