Respondent failed to submit a significant new use notice (SNUN) for a chemical substance (chem id claimed as CBI by respondent) prior to engaging in a significant new use published at 40 CFR 721. Respondent failed to supply potentially exposed workers with appropriate respiratory protection or the required hazard communication/training. Respondent also failed to report 12 chemical substances for the 2020 Chemical Data Reporting (CDR). The final penalty assessed was $450,000.
