On August 4, 2025, EPA Region 10 issued an Administrative Penalty Order to Portland Vancouver Junction Railroad LLC ( Respondent ) to address Clean Water Act ( CWA ) violations at a property in Chelatchie, WA. Respondents violated the Clean Water Act by discharging dredged and/or fill material into approximately 0.25 acres of wetlands adjacent to Chelatchie Creek and approximately 155 linear feet of stream without authorization under CWA Section 404. Respondents have agreed to pay a penalty of $14,000.
