On January 16, 2025, EPA issued a Notice of Warning to Black Timber Farms for misusing a registered pesticide under Section 12 of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act. An inspection, conducted by a federally credentialed tribal inspector on September 18, 2024, showed the Respondent failed to train workers according to the Worker Protection Standard as per label requirements.
