On March 20, 2025, EPA Region 10 issued an expedited settlement agreement and final order to KAI LLC located in Boise, Idaho, for violations of TSCA's Lead-Based Paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule. EPA Region 10 alleged KAI LLC failed to maintain all RRP records for a period of three years after performing renovation on a pre-1978 residential property, as required by the RRP Rule. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty amount of $1,000.
