EPA inspection found that Metro Ready Mix, LLC was operating in violation of its NPDES general permit (GP#3) authorized by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). EPA conducted a storm water compliance inspection of Metro Read Mix (the Site) on February 8 & 9, 2024. The Site, operating under Metro Ready Mix, LLC. (the Company), was not in compliance with its NPDES general permit (IA-43087-42696) authorized by the Iowa Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) at the time of the inspection.
