On February 25, 2025, Region 3 issued an Expedited Settlement Agreement and Final Order (ESA) that commenced and concluded a matter against Price?s Auto Salvage, an automobile salvage yard located in Paradise, Pennsylvania. The cited violation is discharging without an NPDES permit. The ESA settles the violations with a civil penalty of $20,000. The ESA was subject to public comment, which ended on December 23, 2024, with no comments received. The Facility is in an area of EJ concern. EPA has consulted with Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection during the development of this action.
