On March 25, 2026, EPA Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with penalty resolving CWA violations of EPA's 2015 and 2021 Multi-Sector General Permit by Woodgrain Millwork, Inc at its facility in Nampa, Idaho. Alleged violations included failure to implement and maintain control measures and best management practices, failure to sample and monitor outfalls, failure to minimize exposure of industrial activities to minimize pollutant discharges, failure to maintain proper routine site inspection, corrective action, and additional implementation measures documentation, failure to submit timely discharge monitoring reports, and failure to maintain its Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) according to the written standard as required by the Permits. This enforcement action stands to prevent an annual discharge of 86 pounds of Biological Oxygen Demand, 528 pounds of Chemical Oxygen Demand, 2 pounds of Nitrate + Nitrite Nitrogen, 4 pounds of Total Nitrogen, 2 pounds of Total Phosphorus, and 1,456 pounds of Total Suspended Solids into Indian Creek. A separate administrative order on consent that sought injunctive relief was also filed for this matter on February 10, 2026 under docket #: CWA-10-2025-0067. The respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $125,000 and has returned to compliance.
