On August 13, 2025, Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement resolving violations of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System individual wastewater permit for Alaska Full Cycle LLC.'s wastewater treatment facility located in Ketchikan, Alaska. Alleged violations include failure to call the 24-hour hotline, failure to submit 5-day written report, effluent exceedances for pH, 5-day biochemical oxygen demand, fecal coliform, and total suspended solids, missing information from the quality assurance project plan, missing information from the operation and maintenance plan, and failure to update the operation and maintenance plan annually. This enforcement action stands to prevent an annual discharge of 365 pounds of biochemical oxygen demand and 219 pounds of total suspended solids into Ward Cove. The Respondent has agreed to pay a penalty of $3,520 and has returned to compliance. The estimated cost of injunctive relief is $500.
