On May 16, 2025, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order against Oregon Potato Company doing business as FreezePack LLC for violations of Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act Section 103 and the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act Section 304 for failing to timely report the release of an extremely hazardous chemical from their facility in Pasco, Washington. CERCLA 103 and EPCRA Section 304 annual support emergency response efforts at the state and local levels and helps protect emergency responders when responding to chemical releases. Oregon Potato Company dba FreezePack LLC agreed to pay a penalty of $65,000.
