On April 28, 2025, the Regional Judicial Officer ratified a combined Complaint and Consent Agreement between Region 3 and Etimine USA, Inc. (Etimine), settling alleged FIFRA violations relating to Etimine's sale and distribution of pesticide products, and associated pesticide product import reporting requirements. Etimine imports and sells boron products, which have pesticidal applications in addition to uses for agricultural, wood treatment, metallurgy, and cleaning purposes. EPA alleged that Etimine imported the registered pesticide product, Etidot-67, from the Republic of Turkiye into the United States, for distribution or sale of a misbranded pesticide, with product labels lacking required information about the producer and production facility, and imported shipments of this product into the United States without prior submission, to EPA, of the required Notice of Arrival forms. Etimine's representatives cooperated fully with EPA and the company has certified its compliance with all applicable FIFRA statutory and regulatory requirements. Etimine will pay a civil penalty of $12,600. The Delaware Department of Agriculture has expressed no objection to the EPA's actions.
