On August 7, 2025, EPA issued a final Administrative Compliance Order (AO) to PE-Osage, LLC (Respondent). The AO alleges that Respondent violated regulations set forth at 40 C.F.R. Sections 147.2903(b), 147.2909, 147.2912(a) by failing to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity of an injection well located in Osage County, Oklahoma. The AO requires Respondent to successfully demonstrate mechanical integrity of the injection well, plug the injection well or convert it to production use.
