On 5/22/25, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to Cyanco International LLC, located in Alvin, Texas. The CAFO was issued in response to Cyanco's alleged failure to report one chemical under the 2024 Chemical Data Reporting rule. Cyanco has corrected the alleged violation and has agreed to pay a civil penalty of $28,039 within 30 days of the effective date of the CAFO.
