On 4/30/25, EPA Region 6 issued an Expedited Settlement Agreement & Final Order (ESAFO) to Sardone McLain Construction (Respondent), located in Dallas, TX. The ESAFO was issued in response to alleged violations of the Toxic Substances Control Act; specifically, Respondent's failure to comply with the requirements of 40 C.F.R. Part 745 Subpart E: the lead-based paint Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) rule for residential properties. Respondent has certified that it is now in compliance with the RRP rule and has agreed to pay a civil penalty of $3,000 within 30 days of the date of issue of the ESAFO.
