EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 1414(g) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to City of Opdyke West located in Levelland, Texas. The AO was issued in response to violations of the 40 C.F.R. Part 141.853 for failing to develop an approved RTCR site sampling plan and conduct monitoring per the approved plan. The AO requires City of Opdyke West to develop an RTCR site sampling plan and submit a copy of the plan to TCEQ for review and approval in accordance with 40 C.F.R. Part 141.853 within thirty (30) days.
