On April 22, 2025, EPA Region 6 issued a Notice of Warning and Notice of Intent to Terminate under its authority pursuant to Section 9(c)(3) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136g(c)(3) and 40 C.F.R. Section 167.20(f) to Vichem Specialty Products, LLC. The Notice of Warning and Notice of Intent to Terminate was issued in response to violations of Section 12(a)(2)(L) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136j(a)(2)(L), for Vichem's alleged failure to file annual pesticide production reports for its EPA-registered establishment in Somerville, TX. Vichem must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days of the issue date.
