On May 14, 2025, EPA Region 6 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order and Agreement on Consent (SSUROAC) under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide Fungicide Rodenticide Act to G&G Mex, LLC located in Laredo, TX. The SSUROAC was issued in response to violations of Section 13(a) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. Section 136k{a). Respondent is ordered to immediately cease the sale, use, or removal of the product, Clorox Ropa, under its ownership, control, or custody and provide additional documentation as requested by EPA Region 6. G&G Mex must respond to EPA Region 6 by June 14, 2025.
The investigation of G&G Mex involved an inspection of Amigos Cold Storage Warehouse in Hidalgo, TX, on December 11, 2024.
