On December 12, 2025, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement with Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Soldotna Maintenance Station to address RCRA violations at its facility in Soldotna, Alaska. The violations involve the failure to make hazardous waste determination, and failure to properly manage universal waste. Under the terms of the agreement, Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, Soldotna Maintenance Station certified it has corrected the RCRA violations with additional controls and process improvements. Alaska DOT & PF Soldotna also agreed to and paid a civil penalty of $13,750.
