FIFRA NOW: 8/12/2025 SoRite, LLC Notice of Warning for Violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Case File No. FIFRA-04-2025-3515 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulates the registration, distribution, sale and use of pesticide products pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA or the Act), as amended, 7 U.S.C. ?? 136 et seq. The EPA is issuing this Notice of Warning (NOW) to SoRite, LLC (hereinafter SoRite), pursuant to Section 9(c)(3) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. ? 136g(c)(3), which provides the EPA with the authority to issue a NOW. As explained below, the EPA finds that SoRite violated FIFRA Section 12(a)(1)(E) by distributing or selling adulterated or misbranded pesticides. On or around April 28, 2025, the EPA reviewed the SoRite website https://sorite.com. The EPA observed the statement ?EPA approved? on this website in relation to SoRite Hospital Disinfectant and other non-pesticidal products. While the EPA registers pesticides for use in the United States, it does not ?approve? them. SoRite Hospital Disinfectant is making false or misleading claims by directly or indirectly implying that the pesticide or device is recommended or endorsed by any agency of the Federal Government in violation of 40 C.F.R. 156.10(a)(5)(v).
