FIFRA NOW: 8/21/2025 The Bug Juice, LLC Notice of Warning for Violations of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) Case File No. FIFRA-04-2025-3523 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency regulates the registration, distribution, sale, and use of pesticide products pursuant to the provisions of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA or the Act), as amended, 7 U.S.C.136 et seq. The EPA is issuing this Notice of Warning (NOW) to The Bug Juice, LLC (hereinafter The Bug Juice, pursuant to Section 14(a)(4) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136l(a)(4), which provides the EPA with the authority to issue a NOW. The EPA finds that The Bug Juice violated FIFRA Section 12(a)(1)(A) by distributing or selling unregistered pesticides. On or around October 3, 2024, an authorized representative of the EPA conducted a producer establishment inspection at The Bug Juice, LLC?s facility located at 2550 SE Perugia Street Port St. Lucie, Florida 34952. The inspector presented their credentials and a Notice of Inspection to Tim Hanson, the Owner of The Bug Juice, LLC. The inspector inquired about the production and sale of their products, The Bug Juice, The Baby Bug Juice, The Bug Juice Hunter?s Blend, and The Bug Juice Stick (herein, collectively: the ?Products?), which appeared to be marketed and sold as insect repellents.
