On August 14, 2025, EPA Region 6 issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO) under its authority pursuant to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, & Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) to Border Cash & Carry Inc, located in San Antonio, Texas. The SSURO was issued in response to alleged violations of FIFRA for the sale of unregistered pesticides. The SSURO requires Border Cash & Carry to remove from their inventory certain products from the manufacturer Fabuloso and stop sale immediately.
