On August 13, 2025, Region 8 entered into a Consent Agreement to resolve TSCA Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule violations with Bruce K. Koeller, Inc. (doing business as
CertaPro Painters of Southwest Denver). Following a March 2024 inspection, the EPA determined CertaPro failed to obtain initial firm certification, failed to retain or make available
to the EPA, records necessary to demonstrate compliance with lead-safe work practices and failed to obtain written acknowledgment of the Renovate Right Pamphlet. CertaPro
agreed to a $6000 penalty.
