On September 16, 2025, a Consent Agreement and Final Order entered into by EPA and INTEGRITY AUTO GROUP, INC. dba IAG Performance (Respondent) was filed with the Regional Hearing Clerk settling alleged violations of the CAA. The violations were discovered as a result of an investigation into Respondent's activities where it was determined that Respondent sold at least 14,590 parts or components that defeat certified emission controls on gasoline-powered motor vehicles from 2017-2025. In opposition of the goal of providing clean air to every American, Respondent's conduct created a potential harm to human health by selling parts that defeat controls on emissions of particulate matter, ozone, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen oxides; as well as a potential harm for to the CAA regulatory program by removing or rendering inoperative a vehicle, or engine's emission-related elements of design, so they no longer match the configuration certified by the original equipment manufacturer. The parties reached an agreement on a civil penalty of FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SIX THOUSAND, ONE HUNDRED dollars ($426,100). In keeping with our goal to work with our Agency partners, the Maryland Department of the Environment has been notified of this action and has raised no objection.
