Region 1 finalized a settlement with Mark Illian and Mark Floor resolving alleged violations of the federal Clean Water Act related to the unpermitted filling of wetlands and other waters of the U.S. on property in Limington, Maine. The settlement requires 3.2 acres of wetland restoration and installation of erosion controls. The Region coordinated with OECA, the Maine Department of Environmental Protect and the Corps on this matter.
