On September 29, 2025, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to Section 16 of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to Airgas Specialty Products (Airgas) located in Waxahachie, Texas. The CAFO was issued in response to an alleged violation of the Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) rule under TSCA Section 8(a). EPA alleges that Airgas failed to report one chemical for the 2024 CDR period. The CAFO requires Airgas to pay a civil penalty of $28,039 within 30 days of the effective date of the CAFO. The alleged violation has been corrected.
