The Consent Order addressed several violations identified from July 2024 to present. Violations include failure to install optimal corrosion control treatment following lead action level exceedances in 2022 and 2024, failure to perform quarterly public education following a lead action level exceedance, failure to monitor for volatile organic contaminants during 2024, failure to monitor for total coliform and chlorine residual during 2024, and failure to prepare and distribute a consumer confidence report for calendar year 2023. The Consent Order requires the Respondent to submit a plan and schedule to install optimal corrosion control treatment. The Water Division provided the System extensive compliance assistance prior to the SDWA Enforcement Section initiating this enforcement action. The System serves approximately 685 individuals at least 60 days a year.
