On October 8, Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection to refuse admission of an unregistered pesticide imported by UPS Supply Chain Solutions through the UPS Philadelphia Hub. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute unregistered pesticides. The importer must export the pesticide out of the country or destroy it according to state and local regulations, and must provide documentation to Region 3. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA. This action supports the Powering the Great American Comeback initiative - Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American.
