On November 21, Region 8 issued an Administrative Order (Order) under section 1414 of the SDWA to Park Garden Estates Homeowner's Association (Respondent) based on a determination that the Park Garden Estates Public Water System (System) of Cascade County, Montana violated EPA's National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. The Order addressed the water system's failure to develop and submit a Lead Service Line Inventory by October 16, 2024; failure to notify customers of any lead service lines, galvanized service lines, or unknown service lines; and failure to make the Lead Service Line Inventory publicly available. The Order requires the Respondents to develop and submit a Lead Service Line Inventory; notify customers served by lead, galvanized, or unknown service lines; make the Lead Service Line Inventory publicly available; and notify the public of the violations.
