On January 28,Region 3 issued a Notice of Refusal of Admission (NORA) to the U.S. Customs and BorderProtection to refuse admission of a misbranded pesticide imported through Port of Philadelphia, PA. It is a violation of FIFRA to sell or distribute misbranded pesticides. Theimporter must export the pesticide out of the country or destroy it according to state and local regulations, and must provide documentation to Region 3. The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture was copied on the NORA. This action supports the Powering the GreatAmerican Comeback initiative - Pillar 1: Clean Air, Land, and Water for Every American.
