U.S. General Services Administration, which owns and/or operates underground storage tanks at the Silvio J. Mollo Federal Office Building at 1 Saint Andrews Plaza, New York, NY 10007; the Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Courthouse at 50 Walnut Street, Newark, NJ 07102; and the Robert A. Roe Federal Building at 200 Federal Plaza, Paterson, NJ 07505, failed to comply with 40 C.F.R. Part 280 requirements pertaining to walkthrough inspections; annual release detection equipment operability testing; and recordkeeping. The settlement included a penalty of $5,278 and retraining of their Class B operators.
