Administrative Order (Order) issued by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 6 (EPA) concerning Mesa Verde Humates? facility - San Ysidro Humate Facility Plant for failure to submit the required discharge monitoring reports (DMRs). The Administrative Orders were for violations of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Multi-Sector General Permit for Discharges from Industrial Activities. NMED is not delegated for the NPDES program, therefore the facilities applied for and were issued EPA NPDES Permits, ( permit ), which allow discharges of pollutants to waters of the United States, but only in compliance with the terms of the permit. The violations occurred from July 1, 2022, to September 30, 2025.
