On April 7, 2026, EPA sent a final Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) to Nevada Oil, LLC for violations of 40 CFR Part 112, the Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) regulations. The violations were documented during an inspection of the Irma Nacatoch Unit TB 28 on January 14, 2026. The violations include various SPCC Plan and facility deficiencies that impacted the operator's ability to prevent a spill at the facility. Nevada Oil, LLC corrected all violations and certified compliance prior to settlement. The penalty is $ 1,875.00.
