## Summary

In response to the release or threatened release of hazardous substances at the site, EPA undertook response actions. The Site consists of several areas within Mineral County where the County, the town and/or School District collected soils contaminated with heavy metals (lead and arsenic) from the banks of the Clark Fork River and used those soils for various construction fill purposes. In performing the response actions at the Site, EPA incurred response costs of approximately 1.1 million dollars. It is not expected that any additional significant response costs will be incurred in the future.
