On January 23, 2013, a default judgement was granted by the Norther District of Oklahoma in favor of the EPA, ordering the Respondents(Tallgrass Petroleum Corp., Wildhorse Resources, Inc., and Gary Bell) to pay a $636,687 penalty for numerous violations of the Clean Water Act(CWA). These CWA violations included: unathorized produced water discharges which polluted Skiatook Lake; oil spills which polluted Skiatook Lake; and SPCC violations.
